Work closely with sales teams in the pursuit of new business
Engage directly with customers to understand and solve technical and business challenges leveraging HP’s broad array
of print hardware and solutions
Identify technical hardware requirements, sales differentiation, and articulate HP's solutions in a technical forum
Seek to understand the customer's business environment and business process gaps that can be addressed with HP's
technical solutions
Develop relationships with technical influences
Deliver expertise in printers (inkjet, laser), Pagewide, scanners, and HP Solutions (HPAC, WJA, Security Manager, etc)
An active participant in the development and execution of strategic technical account plans with account managers
Provide leadership for virtual technical account team and ensure implementation of HP's key tools
Initiate reviews regarding the status of key technical sales related initiatives
Maintain a tight interface with the pursuit team
Facilitate and deliver technical workshops to establish a deep account understanding and HP value proposition

Be an experienced professional with a proven track record of success
Understand customer technical needs & requirements
Preferred to have a BS. or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
Have at least 5 years of hardware products pre-sales experience (with at least 5 years of IT experience)
Have an excellent command of server and storage technologies and products
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
Be able to communicate at management level as well as with technical experts
Have an understanding of key business drivers and competitive landscape in server and storage markets
Be proficient in translating business needs into complex solutions

We require a deep knowledge and experience in the following areas:

Awareness of HP products
Design of high availability solutions
Disaster recovery, business continuity, data answers solutions
Virtualization and consolidation practices Design and architecture of complex and professional IT solutions entailing server and storage technologies
Multi-tiered mechanical solutions

Working knowledge in the following areas is an asset :
