Job Description
- Analyze actual labor, material, and overhead cost against Standard/Budget. Research and explain variances. Report this information weekly, monthly or as needed.
- Prepare analysis of fixed spending by department. Show actual vs. budget and identify and explain variances.
- Work with the finance department to implement and apply cost accounting policies and procedures as they are derived.
- Participate in the development of new labor and overhead rates, budget, and forecasts.
- Perform ad hoc projects analysis to support the operations.
Job Requirements
- B.S in accounting or business administration.
- 3-4 years experience in a cost analyst position in a project field.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Access.
- Data mining and analysis and analysis software
- Good command of English language.
