Job Description
Quality Responsibilities:
- Monitor operations production output against client guidelines and internal quality standards.
- Record evaluations utilizing departmental quality monitoring forms.
- Provide managers with regular performance feedback on the operations employees.
- Prepare & analyze quality reports and provide trend data for Management to review.
- Conduct calibration sessions with Quality and Operations teams to ensure consistency in the evaluation process.
- Participate in staff meetings to share observations and ideas.
Training Responsibilities:
- Plays a key role in the training, on-boarding and mentoring of new employees to ensure they understand the processes and procedures related to the specific projects they will support.
- Conducts linguistics training as well as training in other various areas (including personal development skills).
- Selects or develops teaching aids such as training materials, computer tutorials, and reference workshops.
- Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, inter-personal skills, quality & process updates, and technical knowledge.
- Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods. Maintain trainee records.
- Proactively provides feedback to management around suggested changes and up-training that would result in better quality and improved client satisfaction
- Perform additional responsibilities and complete other projects as assigned.

Skills:
- Effective listener with the ability to monitor large volume of operations production output on a weekly / monthly basis ensuring high accuracy.
- Basic mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Talent to communicate with all levels of Department management.
- Aptitude to learn and become a Subject Matter Expert on the clients being supported.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to details.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, ever changing, team-oriented, collaborative environment with a sense of urgency.
- Capability to prioritize & organize effectively, solve routine & complex problems following established policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Experience 2+ years as a Quality/Training position (Preferred in a Localization, or Translation services company).
- Excellent Microsoft office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc...).
