Job Description
- Translate documents into specified language, ensuring the meaning of the source text is maintained.
- Follow the company’s translation process and adhere to the provided guidelines and checklists.
- Research terminology using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the equivalents for the source text.
- Use CAT tools; such as SDL Trados Studio, to ensure translation consistency.
- Use the internet as research tools throughout the translation process.
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy.
- Work professionally to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with colleagues and share knowledge.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English language, literature, translation, etc.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Good research skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new methodologies and technologies.
