Job Description

  • Plan, develop, organize, manage and evaluate the operations and budget of the company’s supply chain.
  • Lead and manage purchasing, inventory control, forecasting, warehousing, transportation and other areas are required.
  • Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports.
  • Understand customers’ needs, service those needs, and maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer’s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to supply chain activities.
  • Manage vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with staff, other departments, senior management, and decision makers to share information, problem solving, and to clarify management objectives.
  • Oversee organization wide management of the strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting, and evaluation of services.
  • Develop and / or participate in the development of the supply chain strategy for the organization.
  • Manage procurement frameworks, sourcing strategies, negotiate agreements, draft and manage contracts, etc.…
  • Implement and adhere to transaction management best practices.
  • Address tactical and strategic supply chain issues.
  • Support the development of supply chain based training materials and technical manuals.
  • Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as the production, and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers.
  •  Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
  • Manage raw material and finished goods, by planning, implementing and controlling the entire process, keeping well replenished stock items. 
  • Control and monitor that all costs are kept within agreed budget, achieving cost efficiency, evaluating and proposing investments necessary to enlarge / improve resources.

Job Requirements

  • Suitable Bachelor degree, MBA is a plus  *
  • 10 or more years in the same position 
  • Required Certifications: CPSM, CPIM, and CSCP 
  • Team Building and communication skills

  • Analytical skills
