Job Description
The senior QS Engineer will be responsible for pre-contract, tender and post-contract stage.
The main duties will include:
- Budget estimate from initial sketches till B.o.Q.
- Prepare and update cost plan at every stage of the project Concept, Schematic, tender, etc.
- Cost control, planning, forecasting and estimation.
- Valuations – including value engineering and management.
- Writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc.).
- Project delivery system recommendations and reports.
- Tender evaluation and reports.
- Contract review negotiation and awards.
- Risk analysis evaluations.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Design Consultant, Developer or Project Management environment.
- Well aware of RICS, Uniformat and Master Format coding and standards.
- Previous experience in Pre contract stages, Tender stage and Construction stage.
