Job Description

The Accounting Manager’s responsibilities include the accurate and timely preparation and analyses of all facets of the financial operations of the company, including financial statement preparation, cash management, budget preparation and analyses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and all other fiscally related duties.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide oversight for accounts payable and accounts receivable with close attention to cash flow analysis and forecasting.
  • Responsible for cash management, making sure that the available cash flow covers companies’ liabilities and dues.
  • Follow-up on the achievement of the forecasted cash flow and measuring the percentage of deviation (negative/positive), and submit a detailed report to the Financial Director.
  • Maintain professional banking relationships, reviewing periodically banks' balances, letters of credits (LCs), and remittances abroad.
  • Supervise the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare required financial statements for audit and ensure compliance with the internal regulations of the company and accounting standards as per law.
  • Apply the costing and pricing strategy for the finished products periodically, and address any variance if necessary.
  • Share in annual budget preparation.
  • Report and analyze all financial records for the company’s outlets.
  • Process production incentive calculations and payments on a monthly basis.
  • Review all company taxes (Payroll, VAT, etc..) and ensure timely payment.
  • Represent the company in front of all governmental and private entities in his scope of the duty to facilitate the company's business.
  • Oversee the performance of the accounting staff, monitor the implementation of assigned plans and submit monthly performance reports to the Financial Director.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, bank reports, and various detailed analysis reports.

Job Requirements

  • BSC of Commerce, Preferable in Accounting Major.
  • 10 years of Exp. in an industrial field, and at least 3 of them in a managerial post.
  • Masters of Management will be an asset.
  • Willing to work at 10th of Ramadan.
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Good knowledge in Cost accounting, budgeting, and treasury handling.
  • Strong Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Oracle accounting applications will be strongly recommended.
  • Excellent problem solving, reporting and analytical skills.
