Main Job Duties:

Provide development expertise to a cross-disciplinary, and geographically diverse team, to ensure that the development needs are balanced with other competing priorities
Leverage user experience and design assets to develop and maintain website and online applications
Work with a cross-functional, full-stack development team to build cross-platform, responsive, high performing CMS based websites and applications
Architect and develop applications for a clustered or distributed environment
Bring innovative ideas to the table to help make our environment and processes better
Be constantly experimenting and innovating

3+ years of website development experience in a team environment
Computer Science degree, or significant equivalent experience
Ability to write code that performs at scale
Experience developing user-friendly and appealing websites
Expertise in rendering page designs (wireframes/visual designs) into web pages (HTML, , CSS, images) (PHP & JavaScript preferable)
Strong working knowledge of CMS platforms (Silverstipe, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc.) and understanding of the strengths and weaknesses between them
Experience integrating with REST APIs including third party ones like Facebook, Twitter, google etc.
Capable of using Linux tools and commands to develop on LAMP stack
Understanding of using design patterns to creatively solve problems while preserving standards and using conventions
Experience with cross-platform and cross-browser testing
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Preference for applicants with knowledge of build tools (Gulp or Grunt), CSS preprocessor (SASS), version control (Git, TFS), Docker, etc.
