Job Description

  • Develops market research objectives to help the organization meet its strategic goals.
  • Analyses current research and statistical techniques, and evaluates state-of-the-art market research developments to develop new techniques.
  • Designs market research customer surveys and other customer contact research programs, directs their implementation, analyses result to determine potential markets for products, and prepares reports.
  • Evaluates front-end and back-end promotions and analyses customer purchasing patterns.
  • Assists in development and implementation of new products by conducting feasibility studies to determine product viability.
  • Develops methods for field testing new products.
  • Tracks competitor marketing activities and collects data to identify current industry trends.
  • Reviews data and presents marketing and product development forecasts to management.
  • Develops and coordinates use of market research computer database.
  • Compiles, analyses, translates, and presents research information to marketing management.
  • Recommends direction or changes to marketing mix based on research results.
  • Formulates and manages the annual market research budget.
  • Evaluates and contracts for external research sources.
  • Work closely with brand management team to plan , manage & report marketing research
  • Compiles, analyses, and presents retail audit reports regularly to marketing team
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL:

  • BA degree in Marketing or equivalent certification
  • 7-10 years of Marketing Research operations – preferably in FMCG or at research agency serving FMCG. Good Command of English language.
  • Good MS office usage.
