Issuing purchasing orders for all materials, coordinating the request and procurement of goods with all departments.
Maintaining vendors files, stock lists and prices, endeavoring to obtain the best quality for the right price ( Three quotations are mandatory).
Ensuring all imported supplies are properly handled.
To negotiate all contracts and pursue a low cost, high quality and service.
Coordinating with the fleet supervisor to control DHL Egypt vehicle fleet system.
To research and analyze existing and potential suppliers in terms of :
Price and payment terms and quality and variety of products
To offer an information service to the management team on all matters involving purchasing and services to the co.
To liaise with Sales & Marketing on all matters connected with the use of advertising agencies and printing firms and to ensure that DHL policies in this regard are complied with.
To ensure that there are standard specifications for all products. This to be done in close cooperation with the heads of department.
To authorize rejection of products which are not to standard in conjunction with the receiving and store department.
To assist in establishing the annual budget for capital expenditure.
To keep accurate and detailed records of all orders placed and transactions combined up to the receipt of goods.
