Job Description
Zyda is on the lookout for a talented Junior Front-End Developer to join our team in Cairo and help build the best SaaS-based online ordering service in the Middle East. You will be contributing significantly to the development of both the customer-facing Progressive Web App as well as the dashboard for business owners. Sounds like the job for you? Read on!
What you'll do:
- Help create an amazing online ordering experience by building new features and improving on existing ones using Material UI and React
- Build themeable and reusable components for the online ordering service
- Develop a powerful dashboard using Ant Design and React where business owners can customize their online store, including the look and feel.
- Continuously benchmark and optimize the performance of our products
- Improve the quality and maintainability of our codebase with decent test coverage
- Collaborate with the backend team on the technical design of new features
- Leverage modern technologies such as GraphQL for use in our products
Job Requirements
- Good understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
- Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Good understanding of a client-side JS framework, such as React.
- Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub
