Job Description
We are looking for an experienced PLC Engineer to join our team.
- To participate in the automation team (PLC and SCADA),
- You will be using programs such as GE, Siemens PLC and SCADA Software .
- You will be a part of the project as you liaise with subcontractors and suppliers and discuss key areas including project schematics, designs, and pricing.
- Using your electrical experience, you will provide troubleshooting and support to the team.
Job Requirements
- You will have at least 4 years' experience in a similar engineering or electrical role.
- Multi-tasking and juggling duties
- Experience with STEP 7 (TIA Portal), or similar programs, and
- Experience with SCADA and Telemetry implementation
- Experience in the design of complex control systems
- Experience in low voltage control systems
- The ability to lead and guide a team.
- Self-motivation and drive to work independently
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential as you will be communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in water treatment and desalination plants is highly desirable.
