Job Description
- Regularly work alongside with the project manager to provide technical and administrative information to project staff.
- Ensure that the work complies with all project documents, codes, specifications, and design instructions.
- Attending progress meetings, discussing and suggesting technical proposals.
- Managing the cost analysis and cost control of site activities.
- Manage project submittals and records (Method of statement, Quantity Surveying, Material Approval, Material Delivery,….)
- Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets of offers received from the subcontractors, and follow up of the subcontracted works, including the payments.
- Negotiates contractual terms and deals with suppliers, contractors, Clients … etc. if/when problems arise.
- Prepare periodic progress and cost reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years’ experience as a technical office engineer.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent business and technical writing.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Capable of leading teams and managing conflicts.
- Experience in working with multiple discipline projects i.e. industrial, infrastructure and hospitality.
- In-depth, current technical engineering knowledge.
