Job Description
- Assist in setting goals and long-term vision with Electromechanical Systems Manager
- Aligns Electromechanical Planning and Project Engineering Team with goals, standards, surface operational strategies, best practices and ensures execution
- Interfaces between support functions and Asset Team Leads to establish and manage boundaries
- Creates an environment where members of the team make the day-to-day decisions while providing the tools, training, and support needed to make those decisions.
- Deliver on production, project costs, safety & environmental targets for Asset Team
- Ensure execution of the business plan
- Coach and mentor team members, assist with performance management and career development through rotational assignments, projects, and training
- Accountability for Electromechanical planning, standards, and projects Engineering
- Provide a customer support mentality for Electromechanical Operations and Maintenance Engineering and Projects teams
- Consult Asset teams on engineering technology availability while achieving standards through the Electromechanical Standards Committee
- Ensure that Team Goals are aligned with Asset teams for each area
- Ensure adequate technical expertise to support Asset Teams
- Manage Team truck fleet of Direct reports
- Responsible for hiring and on-boarding of new employees
- Support field and plants on projects
- Provides guidance on a setting, implementing and changing standards around Electromechanical equipment and processes
- Other requirements.
Job Requirements
- Must be an independent, resourceful and good team player.
- Good initiative, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Able to use Primavera P6 on advance level.
- Able to use MS-Office package especially MS-Excel on an advanced level.
- Able to write clear and concise technical reports for the management.
- 7-12 Years of experience in MEP Projects.
- Qualification: Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical.
- Advance Skills: Excellent writing/communication skills, Primavera P6, Advance Excel and PMP.
