Therapist/ Special Ed Teacher
Job Requirements
- Minimum B.A/B.S degree in education/child psychology from an accredited institution in the appropriate special education area or related field.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching of students with disabilities
- Problem solving and an analytical way of thinking
- Creativity and High organization skills
- Ability to create manipulative and design creative ways of delivering lessons to children with disabilities
- Ability to deliver instruction to a child with disability on a 1:1 basis while maintaining a healthy and productive session
- Ability to deliver and articulate oral presentations and written reports.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, students, parents, staff, administration and the general public.
- Must have the proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
