Job Description
Create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.
- Create images that identify a product or convey a message.
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites.
- Select colors, images, text style, and layout.
- Determine the message the design should portray in cooperation with the digital marketing specialist.
- Incorporate changes recommended into the final design.
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or license degree.
- Experience of 1-2 years in the same position.
- Graphics degree is preferred.
Competencies:
- Communication Skills: Ability to listen & understands any requirements and articulate ideas to the required audience. Very good writing skills.
- Creativity: creatively convey ideas through text and image, creative problem solving skills.
- Technology: Design software such as (Quark, Indesign, Adobe, photo shop…etc.).
- Typography: to be familiar with certain fonts and have a knowledge of line-height and tracking. strong sense of how colors interact, which colors complement, and which colors contrast.
