As a Communications Associate Analyst you will deliver the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda for Egypt Commercial Unit in its full scope by championing and executing an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) that builds the company’s ongoing commitment in becoming a more sustainable, environmentally-friendly and socially responsible company. You will also be responsible for handling projects that enable PepsiCo to build dedicated partnerships and engagements with NGO, civil society and government aligned with PepsiCo CSR global strategy while ensuring employees are participating in driving the success of these plans through volunteering activities. In addition to implementing public relations strategies and plans to promote Egypt CSR agenda externally and enhance corporate reputation among the public.

  • Lead the development of communication plans to promote PepsiCo’s CSR efforts externally
  • Lead the relations with PR and creative agency.
  • Handle the organization and execution of corporate affairs CSR events including signing ceremonies, press conferences, and media round tables.
  • Pitch media interviews and find opportunities to raise visibility on CSR initiatives with key journalists across the region.
  • Evaluate and measure PR execution with clear KPIs and metrics and report to Communications manager.
  • Address direct CSR media inquiries.
  • Deliver annual CSR plans and activities for Egypt CU as per the AOP and ensure sustainability of the programs.
  • NGO evaluation and assessment / identify potential partnership with new NGOs to serve PepsiCo's sustainability / CSR agenda.
  • Leading on creating new sustainability initiatives for PepsiCo
  • Represent PepsiCo with external partners ;oversee and build new relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Deliver Brand PR CSR activities through liaising with marketing teams to integrate CSR plans in their marketing plans
  • Handle contracts with legal team in alignment with NGOs to ensure on time completion
  • Leading on the planning of annual employee advocacy initiatives and creating new initiatives to engage employees in all PepsiCo locations.
  • Organizing the employee advocacy events.
  • Create internal communication material for all PepsiCo external & internal initiatives to raise employees' awareness and pride.
  • Budget for annual expenditures of the CSR agenda.
  • Lead on the Cash Donations annual reporting.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

You should be demonstrating the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mass communication or any relevant discipline with minimum of 4 years of experience in Public Relations and Event Management.
  • Previous exposure of NGOs or international organization is required.
  • Excellent MS Office Applications; MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, Analytical & influencing skills.
  • Business-oriented and customer focused mindset.
  • A team player with a high energy level and a positive personality.
  • Excellent command of both English and Arabic languages is required.
