Job Description

  • Manages marketing department staff and approves various strategies and projects as needed. Oversee the implementation of marketing plans, including promotional materials, advertising opportunities, and client acquisition. Coordinates with other department heads to manage company budgets, objectives, and activities.

Job Tasks:

  • Works with executives to incorporate marketing needs into overall company planning and strategy
  • Ensure access to major media channels and important sponsorships
  • Oversees the production of all marketing materials, including printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts
  • Monitors competitor activity and brainstorms potential improvements or changes in marketing strategy, products, or services
  • Manages the marketing department budget and uses financial strategy to advise all marketing plans
  • Present marketing reports and analyze sales data
  • Leads and manages marketing department staff by providing tasks, objectives, strategies, and projects
  • Assists in interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training of new marketing department staff
  • Adheres to and implements company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Web-trends etc.) and Google Adwords
  • Customer-oriented approach with aptitude
  • Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is a plus
  • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
