Job Description
The graphic & social media designer will be responsible for:
- Creating design solutions that have a high visual impact.
- The role involves listening to clients and understanding their needs before making design decisions.The designs are required for a huge variety of products and activities, such as websites, advertising, , posters, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity, i.e. giving organizations a visual 'brand'
- We are looking for a driven Graphic & Social Media Designer to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users.
- Meeting clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job;
- Interpreting the client's business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
- Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients;
- Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
- Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers;
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
- Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief;
- Working on layouts and artworking pages ready for print;
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash is recommended
- Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists

Job Requirements
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
- Social media designs background is an asset
- Designing digital ads is an asset
- Must be fluent in verbal and written English and Arabic.
- University Degree
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Flash, PowerPoint
- Audio/Video Editing Suites, Internet Applications
- Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time.
- Work well as part of a team, with a range of people.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Be highly motivated and well organized.
- Have a good eye for detail.
- Be able to see other people's point of view and cope with criticism.
- Be able to work within extended project nature and tight timelines
