Senior Data Base Administrator (DBA)

• The Job holder will be responsible for assisting the development teams in requirement analysis, solution design, configure and test, data preparation, user training, go-live support.
  In addition S/he will be responsible for Use issues-based consulting and specialized methodologies, assets and work with products to create client deliverable.
• Creates and implements backup recovery strategies

1. Technical Supervision

• Optimizes machines and Database servers and their resources
• usage.
• Measures support time for different oracle support issues types.  Understands new technologies
• Transfer knowledge sessions to Database Team

2. Database Designs

• Assists developers in the application design phase for better application performance.

3. Quality Reviews

• Manages the database deliverable quality for better application
• performance
• Performs quality audit reviews and project conformance
• Assists application teams in database code review before going
• life

4. Customer Interface

• Directs communication with customer for solving database
• related problems
• Provides consultation to help the customer decide on a database
• technology that best fits his needs
• Assigns team members to projects according to customer needs
• Manages the process of moving a resource from his place

• Responds appropriately to any escalated issues as they arise

5. People Management

• Develops and Tracks the oracle support effort for project issues
• schedule it according to the work load and priorities
• Assigns Tasks to the database team members according to knowledge & tasks
• Analyzes the database training needs and prepares training plans for them
