Job Description

  • Set goals and objectives, and design a framework for the department and monitor the operation inside it.
  • Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements with Managing the company financial accounting, monitoring, auditing and reporting systems.
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to upper managerial levels while recommending further courses of action with control income, cash flow and expenditure.
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends with advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take to maintain the financial health of the organization and analyze change and advising accordingly.
  • Analyze costs, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans with arranging new sources of finance for a company's debt facilities.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and analyzing competitors and market trends.
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
  • Ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken and supervise staff.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager in pharmacy field
  • Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as auditor
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Proficient user of finance software
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting
