Job Description
- Manage the local Operations Teams based in PSMB, Portex, Amerya and Cairo.
- Oversee personnel within the base which includes, but not limited to, work allocation, training,
- and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel
- action; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance. Work in
- conjunction with Functional Heads to develop and implement local systems.
- Ensuring that personnel in lifting and hoisting operations have received adequate training, and
- are competent in their respective jobs and are in possession of the proper certificates
- Ensures that lifting equipment is stored properly after each use to prevent damage
- Authorizing (issuing the PTW) and making sure that all lifting operations, and in particular
- complex, heavy and critical lifting operations, are properly studied, assessed, designed and
- calculated and that prevention, control and mitigation measures are implemented
- Providing suitable and certified equipment and machinery
- Responsible that the service of Transportation, Handling and Material Management is carried
- out in efficient manner and in accordance with company instructions and requirements.
- Responsible for the cost-effective use of operations personnel and assets
- Promote HSSEQ through safety leadership to all Medserv staff, contractors and customers
- Seeking innovative solutions and opportunities that will allow the business to grow
- Assist clients with their daily requirements in the Yard and the Quay.
- Develop and assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- consistent across Company Group to ensure efficient and safe operation within the base.
