Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan and forecast demands based on the historical data analysis, statistical modeling, marketing strategies, inventory levels and sales trends
- Analyse and interpret the product’s life cycle to ensure better estimate and forecast
- Determine the optimal stock level, safety stocks and re-ordering points and liaise with the different category and retail operation managers
- Review the stock versus the sales ratios
- Efficiently manage inventory and enhance turnover ratio
- Evaluate the efficiency of the inventory management and improve the inventory turnover ratio
- Evaluate all sales and forecast patterns
- Build and develop relationship with the purchasing team to identify the local needs and track their stock
- Identify opportunities and new methodologies to improve the accuracy of forecasting and planning
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Proven working experience as planner (5 - 8 years of experience)
- Drive for results and leaderships skills
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Very good command of the English language
- BS/MS degree in supply chain/ management or a related field
