Planning Manager - Retail Chain

Responsibilities

• Plan and forecast demands based on the historical data analysis, statistical modeling, marketing strategies, inventory levels and sales trends
• Analyse and interpret the product’s life cycle to ensure better estimate and forecast
• Determine the optimal stock level, safety stocks and re-ordering points and liaise with the different category and retail operation managers
• Review the stock versus the sales ratios
• Efficiently manage inventory and enhance turnover ratio
• Evaluate the efficiency of the inventory management and improve the inventory turnover ratio
• Evaluate all sales and forecast patterns
• Build and develop relationship with the purchasing team to identify the local needs and track their stock
• Identify opportunities and new methodologies to improve the accuracy of forecasting and planning
