Job Description

Main Job Duties:

  • Develop and test new materials, devices and equipment.
  • Building and evaluating prototypes; troubleshooting problems; and rethinking the design until it works correctly
  • Liaising with technicians and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility of a product in terms of design and economic viability
  • Discussing and solving problems with manufacturing, quality, purchasing and marketing departments
  • Approaching marketing and other industry companies to sell the product
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
  • Arranging clinical trials of medical products
  • Testing and maintaining clinical equipment
  • Training technical or clinical staff
  • Investigating safety-related incidents
  • Install, adjust, maintain, and/or repair biomedical equipment
  • Sales Promotion of all available products by visiting customers (governmental, none governmental and private)
  • Prepare quotations in consulting with the GM. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
  • Follow up on all quotations and potential projects, new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Attendance and performing demonstration during workshops and exhibitions
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • To follow up on the shipments upon their arrival
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
  • Extensive traveling in the sales territory
  • Deal with customer complaints about product performance
  • To maintain a high level of knowledge, both technical and commercial of the product lines, by devoting the time while in the office, to deepen product knowledge
  • To check all placed orders and report as above
  • To evaluate and distribute product information upon receiving it, to all interested customers
  • To follow up collection of all unpaid invoices due to the company
  • To keep-up-to-date complete and efficient records on ordered instruments in the area. In coordination with After Sales Support Engineer to compile and prepare list of users, maintain instrument files
  • To prepare weekly plan and daily reports and include all details of interest participate in serious suggestions for better improvements, propose visits and activities for the next week
  • Provide any assistance during presence in the office, of administration nature, whenever requested
  • To be responsible for the competition file (handling, filing, updating, etc.)
  • Maintain an awareness of competitors activities and developments in associated techniques and ensure that the information is collected and made available, as and when required, since this is a very important part of the business
  • Prepare quarterly list of any demo kits if required based on the activity plan
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Manage account services Through quality checks and other follow-up,
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-tip, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to dose sales
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock

Job Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor of Engineering (Biomedical, communications or electronics)
  • Fluent of spoken and written English language
  • Ability to persuade and influence others
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
  • Willingness to local travel to current and potential clients

  • Ability to evaluate the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of biomedical equipment
