Mechanical / Electrical Engineer (Multinational)

Our client is a French multinational company operating worldwide in rail transport markets, active in the fields of passenger transportation, signalling and locomotives, with products including the AGV, TGV, Eurostar, and Pendolino high-speed trains, in addition to suburban, regional and metro trains, and Citadis trams.

• Ability to write in English clearly and precisely if possible (Italian optional)
• to enable feedback to be given to Projects and Customers on defects and causes through detailed and consistent verbal/written analysis
• Good analytical and trouble-shooting skills
• Produce technical reports when required
• Good interpersonal skills (Communication and Presentation skills)
• Mentor product testers to establish and improve defined ‘ways of working’
• Attend and participate in all team forums and communication sessions;
• Attend and participate in all training provided;
• Identify possible Corrective Action for any failures with the team.
• Lead the evaluation of new/existing Customer returns and work closely with team to turn around items in a short timescale
• Work closely with suppliers and sub-contractors to provide a high level of service
