Job Description
- Proofread advertising materials, including scripts, layouts, comps, presentations and RFPs, against client manuals and style guides and mark up via proofreading marks and digital interfaces.
- Work closely with other proof-readers and project management to ensure digital content is error free, utilizes consistent language and adheres to clients' style manuals
- Maintain multiple client manuals with preferred styles, including logo usage, brand names, trademark symbols and other designated language, grammar and punctuation.
- Maintain house manual with preferred grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Incorporate formatting standards based on templates and client or agency rules.
- Leads large projects and research requests when needed.
- Test digital banner ads against specifications.
- Digital testing of more comprehensive projects a plus
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics
- Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
- The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
- At least two years of experience writing for a B2B audience
- Experience using WordPress, Weebly, and/or Joomla! preferred
