JOB BRIEF
- We are looking for a Senior Credit Officer to oversee our company’s lending process, from evaluating clients’ creditworthiness to approve or reject loan requests.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Researching and evaluating clients’ creditworthiness
- Creating credit scoring models to predict risks
- Approving or rejecting loan requests, based on credibility and potential revenues and losses
- Ensure that the loans are granted to the clients as for the policies approved by the senior management.

- Approve or reject loan requests, based on credibility and potential revenues and losses
- Negotiate loan terms with clients
- Monitor payments
- Maintain records of loan applications
- Ensure all lending procedures comply with regulations
- Develop, review and update our company’s credit policies
- Prepares/Reviews daily, weekly and monthly Credit risk reports.
- Participates in the definition and assessment of the risk management framework for new products/activities through contribution and/or attendance to decision making process.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Credit Senior analyst, Credit Analyst or similar role
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Solid understanding of lending procedures
- BS degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Business, or related field.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (Writing and Speaking).
- Ideal experience : 3 to 5 years.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets (e.g. in Excel)
- Negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Sound judgment.
- Financial modeling, including a range of valuation techniques
- Technology development/project management experience.
- Excellent Computer skills.
- Detail-oriented and diligent.
