JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Catering Company - Corporate Sales Manager /Cairo /New Cairo

Department: Sales and Marketing

Supervision Received: MD

JOB SUMMARY

  • The Catering corporate Sales Manager has the responsibility for the sales efforts and execution of meeting and event space held. The Catering Sales Manager must utilize available resources to provide excellent customer satisfaction. Requires knowledge of, and adherence to, policies and procedures and all Catering & Sales Policies, Systems, and Procedures.

JOB DUTIES

  • Will solicit, Negotiate and confirm new and repeat business within designated social and corporate catering markets through various efforts (lead follow up, telemarketing, direct mail, referrals, internet prospecting, etc.) to maximize revenues to meet/ exceed individual revenue goals.
  • Develop plans and actions by analyzing historical, current and future catering /market trends and creates selling strategies to maximize catering revenues.
  • Keep up to date on industry trends
  • Selling Activities in Conjunction with outside corporate sales (Companies, Banks , Gym , ..etc)
  • Set up outside sales appointments as outline in goals.
  • Generate leads through internet searches, telephone solicitations, mailings, referrals, networking, trade shows, professional and community organizations, etc.
  • Solicit new business from existing customer base through phone contact, trade shows and professional and community organizations.
  • Meet/exceed monthly sales activities goals. (Outside calls, prospecting calls, side inspections, entertainment, and networking.)
  • Develop corporate sales agreements
  • Negotiate contract with clients.
  • Managing Customer Satisfaction
  • Handle all Catering inquiries and ensure timely follow up. (Return all calls within 24 hours).
  • Build and maintain corporate customer loyalty.
  • Manage business to meet or exceed catering financial targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, data base and reports to provide history, ensure future and current quality service and enhance future prospects
  • Prepare reports as requested by MD
  • Other routine and clerical duties as needed.
  • Coordinate with different departments, specific requirements. This includes proposals, contract, and menus.
  • Regularly participate in local, industry and/or national networking events in order to access new contacts for new accounts/business.
  • Liaison between the Banquet staff and MD to ensure timely communication of client needs.
  • Supervise execution of banquets which may include working on the weekends, evenings or holidays.
  • Review all banquet t orders and daily/weekly banquet sheet to ensure accuracy.
  • Review and update menus/packages/upgrades regularly to ensure we are satisfying guests’ needs and maximizing revenue.
  • Maintain appropriate sales collateral and tools for the department.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Catering Experience Only
  • 4-6 overall experience, Minimum 2-3 years as a Catering Corporate Sales Manager level preferably in a catering company environment with demonstrated wide-ranging knowledge of food and related food and beverage pairings.
  • BS/BA Degree in Business or similar industry-related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of catering corporate sales process including prospecting, campaigns, selling need periods, negotiations, upselling and closing with proven, consistent track record of catering sales/revenue goal achievement year-over-year.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including leading and participating in formal presentations.
  • Strong negotiation skills as well as the ability to cultivate leads, build relations, and close the deal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills. Microsoft Office, other programs as it pertains to this position.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong desire to deliver high quality of customer service.
  • Detail oriented and organized as it pertains to accuracy and efficiency.
  • Good personnel and management and organizational skills.
