Purpose
To strengthen the technical sales team in Egypt & Africa, we are recruiting a nutritionist for the following position in Cairo, Egypt:
Marketing & Sales Position for the feed additives, Health & Nutrition Business Unit. The ideal candidate will work in the feed additives & specialty products business where the company is regarded as the world market leader in amino acids for animal nutrition due to its commitment to serve the feed industry worldwide.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage and handle sales reps distributors, agents and traders
- To sustain the sales of our products (primarily amino acids) & the specialty products through nutritional service support to our customers, distributors and sales team.
- Support customers in cases of complaints, including negotiation of a settlement and/or mutual agreement
- Plans and executes sales visits as well as technical visits on a regular basis
- Development of relationships with customers, consultants and other stakeholders in the animal feed industry.
- Launch and implementation of new products and services.
- Participate in set up and follow-up of field trials and publication of the results in local magazines.
- Market analysis and customer surveys for identifying trends evolving applications and competition.
- Consultation with the business and sales managers to set objectives for your country and generate and execute technical action plans with the corresponding sales team.
- Broad coverage of Egypt market for untapped potential.
- Identification of opportunities for additional growth
- Cultivation of excellent client relationship
- Correspondence with English and regional for Africa
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Graduated as MSc or PhD from Agricultural University for Animal Nutrition, Veterinary or Animal Husbandry science.
- Scientific competence in animal nutrition and physiology
- Industry competence in feed formulation and feed milling technology
- Ideally, a good understanding and knowledge of the feed industry.
- Experience in feed formulation and applying nutritional know-how in feeds
- Techno commercial skills with sound computer literacy with efficient communication skills
- In depth knowledge of commercial aspects/sales issues
- Able to demonstrate strong business acumen
- High customer orientation and very good market understanding
- Besides local language, good knowledge of written and spoken French and English is essential.
- Willing to travel for a substantial part of her/his working time.
- Good communication skills
- Capability to work in a team and with a network as well as being autonomous in implementing actions.
- Is able to align regional activities with the overall company’s strategy
