Job Description
- Provide electrical design details for new and refurbishment projects.
- Communicate with contacts at all levels, and attend on-site meetings.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time will be essential
- Provide financial support and advice for equipment and projects.
- Set clear goals and expectations to sub-contractors and site teams.
- Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Should be able to carry out electrical engineering aspects yourself such as sizing motors, cables and other electrical engineering calculations.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in line with current Health & Safety legislation and Company procedures
- IT skills including Word, Excel and Microsoft Project is essential, as you will be required to analyze data and make decisions.
- Site surveys
- Researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales.
- Interpreting design specifications and technical drawings
- Produce reports.
- Preparing product documentation, writing reports and specifications.
- Design electrical requirements for refrigeration systems, including loadings, infrastructure and systems.
- Design control networks.
Job Requirements
- A Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 1-4 years of professional experience working in a related position
- Self-motivated, who works independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & organizational skills
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Experienced in all the design stages of a product
- Possessing a good team spirit, deadline orientated and having the ability to produce detailed technical specifications from client requirements
- Have the ability to engage in creative and critical thought
