Job Description
Drafts contracts and agreements in conjunction with related parties to ensure that all provisions are legal and the interests of the company are protected.
- Reviews contracts and agreements prepared by other areas to ensure that all provisions are legal and the interests of the organisation are protected.
Support the different areas in the organisation in the preparation of policies ensuring that they comply with the legal requirements and regulations.
- Liaise with external law firms to obtain legal advice and consultations on issues related to procedures and representation of the organisation before external authorities (Egyptian courts, Investment Authority, etc.) and ensure that the external law firm is providing sound advice and representation.
Support the Human Resources Department to attend and resolve disputes with employees and provide legal counselling to ensure that disputes are resolved fairly within laws and regulations.
- Handling all issues related to the board & general assembly meeting and preparing all their needed documentation , Commercial register
Follow up all law suits initiated from & against the company.Follow up all law suits initiated from & against the company.
- Handle Opening social insurance file
- Handling Stores licenses and any other government issues .
- Handle internal investigations and ensure that investigation report and penalty applied as per the labour law.
- Support the different areas in the organisation during negotiations from a legal standpoint to ensure that agreements during negotiations are made to the advantage of the Knock Mart and within governing laws and regulations.
- Manages all legal matters that is related to Knock Mart and on all retail projects.
- Provides functional, technical or process leadership. The company may need.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law
Minimum Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position; experience with operations preferred.
Skills Specific to the Post
- Strong experience in legal corporate matters.
- Ability to ensure the corporate integration of legal management objectives, policies and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
