Job Description
- Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for web and mobile.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process
- Participate in the development process from a definition, through design, build, test, release, and maintenance.
- Stay abreast of UI trends and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds.
- Research and track advancements in web and mobile application design patterns.
- Break any design problem down into viable actionable chunks and solve them with clarity and precision.
- Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the web and mobile design
Job Requirements
- Proven UI Experience
- Digital Product Design in the software space.
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Have an experience with design tools like XD, InVision, Zepplin, Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS is an advantage.
- Expertise in standard UI software such as XD, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UIPin, Balsamiq, Framer, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
- Practical experience in responsive web design projects.
- Deep understanding of the iOS and Android platforms.
- Extensive experience in using UI design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
- A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
- Be open to receiving feedback.
- Be passionate about all things UI and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
