Photo Lab Manager

CiC is looking for a Photolab Manager

• CiC is looking for a Photolab Manager to join its team. The Manager’s role is to direct and supervise operations in the digital and analog labs, including building on and implementing the lab’s marketing and business development plan, identifying and seizing growth opportunities, and overseeing its day-to-day operations.
• The Photolab Manager will oversee the digital and analog lab technicians, work closely with the Artistic Director, Operations Manager, and Financial and Communications Officers.

Photolab Manager Job Duties And Responsibilities:

1. Operations:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lab, supervising technicians and ensuring all orders are processed in a correct, cost effective and timely manner guaranteeing product excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Purchasing materials, planning inventory and ensuring warehouse efficiency
• Performing quality controls and monitoring production KPI’s.
• Monitoring and maintaining equipment condition, arranging regular servicing and maintenance, as well as repairs when necessary.

2. Financial And Sales:

• Meeting sales and growth targets
• Examining financial data and assessing performance
• Developing ways to improve profitability
• Identifying areas of growth, potential partnerships, patronage and sponsorship opportunities in alignment with CiC’s overall vision and strategic plan
• Managing contract and price negotiations with vendors and service providers

3. Strategic Growth:

• Identifying growth prospects, including local and international collaborations and potential strategic partners
• Developing business relationships and initiating contracts and sales
• Performing market research, developing existing products and services, and introducing new ones based on careful study of client needs and demands
• Developing and implementing a vision to expand the facilities’ reach both in Egypt and in the region

4. Marketing:

• Developing, fine-tuning and implementing the PR, marketing and communications plan put forth for the Photolab
• Overseeing and managing communication channels including social media and email newsletters
• Proposing and implementing a small-scale program of annually recurring marketing events
