Job Description
- Oversee creation of processes and methods to gather supply chain data
- Process data, identifying problematic areas and suggesting improvements
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Design and implement necessary supply chain optimization projects
- Develop requirements and standards (e.g. procurement, shipping, etc.)
- Analyse, optimize, and oversee inventory procedures
- Commitment to uncovering the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
- Assess vendor operations (e.g. freight) according to quality benchmarks and standards
- Foster strong partnerships with other businesses
- Track KPIs and generate reports for supply chain performance
Job Requirements
- Significant work experience as a Supply Chain Manager, from 5 to 10 years work experience
- Perform purchasing, warehouse management (feed, product and spare parts) and logistics
- Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting
- Proficient understand of all levels of the supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding organizational and management skills
- Background and experience as a Supply Chain Manager in a similar field such as: floorings, wooden products, furniture, textile, etc is mandatory
