Job Description
Main Duties:
- Identify all requirements and specifications from all purchase requests (PR's).
- Manage all (PR's) with regard to urgency according to time plans and schedules .
- Market survey for competitive quotations.
- Prepare a schedule of comparison with taking into consideration quality, cost and time.
- Negotiate payment terms and contract conditions.
- Maintain all paper work and documents accurately in order to justify the purchasing process.
- Adequate handling and issuance of purchase orders (PO's)
- Handle the delivery and inspection of the purchased items.
- Properly hand over all items to inventory department.
- Keep the suppliers data base updated by keeping up with market developments.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of construction and construction materials and supplies.
- Have the knowledge and an adequate data base of related materials suppliers and dealers.
