Job Description

Responsible for the operation and instructional leadership the Nursery. Trains and supervises staff, sets instructional objectives, and works to build a rapport with parents.

  • Manage day-to-day activities at the Nursery.
  • Administer record keeping.
  • Maintain rapport with parents.
  • Handle tours and marketing.
  • Prepare budgets and annual reports.
  • Explain or answer procedural questions.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate stuff.
  • Visit classrooms and observe teaching methods.
  • Meet with other administrators, parents, and community organizations.
  • Prepare and maintain attendance, planning, accounting, or personnel reports and records for officials and agencies
  • Determine allocations of funds for staff, supplies, materials, and equipment, and authorize purchases.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate primary and supplemental staff, and recommend personnel actions for programs and services.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as Administration Representative, officer or relevant position.
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation
