Job Description
- Develop, maintain and modernize our existing applications and codebase.
- Design, maintain, and develop RESTful web services to be consumed by UI applications.
- Develop interactive, responsive web applications.
- Work with your Scrum team to plan sprints and deliver features.
- Work closely with Product Owners, and consider the end users who will be using the result of your efforts.
- Work collaboratively with a growing team of developers.
- Assist, educate and lead junior team members.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency with HTML/[S]CSS.
- Perfect command of JavaScript language is a must.
- Experience with (and proper understanding of) an RIA framework (Angular/React/Vue).
- Experience writing Restful web services using *either* Python(Flask), NodeJS, PHP(Symfony/Laravel).
- Deep understanding of SQL and your ORM tool of choice.
- Solid experience with cross-device responsive web development techniques.
- Day-to-day experience using common development tools/workflows and environments: Git, Linux, Build tools (either Grunt/Gulp/WebPack).
- Experience working in a team environment, ability to work with, assisting and leading junior team members.
- Avid self learner and reader, and able to transfer your knowledge easily between tools, technologies and frameworks.
- Good command of English, and excellent written communication skills.
- Nice to have:
- React/Redux knowledge and understanding is a big plus.
- Experience with React Native is a plus.
- Experience setting up cloud-hosting environments, deployment and automation setups.
- Experience writing programmatic tests.
- Working with Linux as a daily working environment.
