Job Description
We are looking for a part time professional proofreader with the following qualities and attributes
- Proofreading the translated materials and correcting all the grammatical and linguistic mistakes to improve the quality of the English content regarding meanings & appropriated style.
- Revising the language, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and style of the English text to make sure it is free of mistakes and looks like an originally composed text.
- Consulting with the translator to ensure the text is free of contradiction
- Ensuring the style is clear and consistent with the English language standards grammatically and linguistically
- Adding comments about any grammatical & style issues to be corrected by the team work.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree most preferably in English, journalism, or mass communication, or in a related field
- 2 years of experience proofreading or editing written content. Knowledge of standard proofreading practices, procedures, and concept
- Attention to details, able to identify and rephrase grammatical errors to ensure an error-free text
- Teamwork skills: to be able to work with a team of education consultant
- Spelling/Grammar Skill: Correctly assemble words and apply them in writing.
