Customs & Clearance Senior Broker

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support direct manager in implementing an effective and efficient monthly and weekly strategy for achieving the division action plans.
• Supervise the process of collecting necessary information and data to finalize the process of customs clearance.
• Follow-up with shipping lines - tankers- to see the arrival of shipments (air - land - sea).
• Prepare shipments documents with coordination with other departments in order to implement customs clearance procedures.
• Follow-up with customs clearance team to obtain the delivery orders from shipping lines.
• Daily report on all shipment and update shipment schedule.
• Coordination with the concerned departments on delivering the shipment to the client.
• Follow-up the settlement of Logistics bills- warehouses.
• Collect necessary information and data to finalize the customs clearance process.
• Follow-up on the release of shipments in chronological time.
• Maintain the confidentiality data contained in the documents of each shipment, and verify the accuracy of their information.
• Follow up on all transactions with customs laws and regulations.
• Issue invoices and claims for the client.
• Receive customer complaints and resolve it.
• Ensure applying and maintaining all health, safety and insurance rules and regulations in all operational aspects.
• Implement the efficient filling mechanism to ensure maintain data.
• Ensure applying and maintaining accurate and clear documentation for operational procedures and activities.
• Provide superiors with technical support when required.
• Perform any tasks required by his\her superior within the operations of logistics division’s responsibilities.
• Perform periodical (monthly/weekly) reports to superior upon achievements and performance.
• Compliance with all administrative and technical rules applied by the company.
