Job Description
- Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code and integration with back-end services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Information Technology
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Android applications
- Deep understanding of the internals of the Android frameworks
- Design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME)
- Experience with Android 4.0 and higher and Android SDK
- Experience in (UX)
- 4+ Years of proven experience in Android application development with very good knowledge of the Android build system and application frameworks (e.g. app components like Fragments, Services, Loaders and Content Providers, Cursors, Recycler Views, etc.)
- Fluent in writing well-documented code
- Experience with software architecture and design patterns
- Experience with (Firebase (Notification, Real-Time Database, Retrofit)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
