Job Description
- Conducts market research and competitor analysis and identifies points of competition.
- Planning and execution of marketing and outreach activities.
- Monitoring all relevant eco-system and community events and headhunting of good teams and startups to join EdVentures cycles.
- Responsible for featuring our companies and providing appropriate representation for them to contribute to the overall brand image of EdVentures.
- Manage social media for the center across social network platforms on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and monitor metrics.
- Performs and supervises all communication, outreach, marketing, public relations, and media duties related to EdVentures.
- Construct quarterly newsletter and annual newsletter for all relevant stakeholders.
- Lead the venture’s business development efforts and grow its community of sponsors and programmatic support and stewardship functions.
- Find, meet, track, rank, and monitor a pipeline of prospective companies that could be relevant supporters.
Job Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous community management experience in startup environment is a necessity,The more experienced you are, the best you can understand the expectations of this startup scene.
- Previous relevant experience in event management for large parties (200+). Previous experience in start-up and corporate environments (6 months+) and strong understanding of the tech & startup industries.
- Previous experience with project management & working with 3rd party suppliers such as training providers, consultancy companies, and individual freelancers etc. is a necessity.
- Excellent ability to read, write and speak English
- Excellent understanding of various work & social cultures
- Strong belief in getting things done - it is important to have drive, ownership, and execution.
- You have to be comfortable working alone and in a group and be capable to prioritize and make things happen.
