Job Description
- Coordinate design development of steel fabrication.
- Ensure that the design is coordinated with all regulatory and stakeholders requirements.
- Responsible for resolving site specific design issues with design consultants and communicating those issues to the project delivery team.
- Provide and coordinate design deliverable schedule to consultants and ensure on-time delivery of documents.
- Preview design documents and provide comments, review all comments for relevance and consistency.
- Provide technical leadership to assure that all technical work reviewed is of high quality, accurate and within the context of schedule.
- Assure design detailing is in conformance with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with design review team to develop and improve design review process and to maintain quality.
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7-10 years’ experience in steel Engineering.
- Excellent time & Project Management skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of design, construction codes and standard.
- Proficiency in working on the AutoCAD program & Tekla Software.
