Job Description
- Conducts weekly BSS & UTRAN design review, Cards utilization and Load to ensure the competitive quality of service all over the network.
- Planning of the # of BSCs/RNCs and their configurations needed to support the # of planned sites and the forecasted traffic.
- Act as a focal point with the other teams within the technical department.
- Assess the new promotions coming from the marketing department before and after go to market.
- Responsible for the BSS/RNCs capacity expansion plans before Ramadan and Eid and other events.
- Prepare a contingency plan in case of any delay in the new BSCs/RNCs
- Responsible for the new BOQ orders of the BSC/RNC for the new phases.
- Finalize the PAC and RFSs related the RAN planning team
- Support in Yearly budget calculations and Opex/Capex reduction projects
- Benchmarking of new BSC/RNC features and new technologies.
- Benchmarking of new BSC/RNCs SW releases.
- BSC/RNC Daily report and traffic monthly report analysis.
- Conduct Traffic and signalling links analysis and dimensioning on all interfaces to ensure the competitive quality of service all over the network.
- Conduct roadmaps analysis for HW and SW for all access vendors.
Job Requirements
- University Degree in Communication Engineering
- Good - Very Good - Excellent Computer skills, Advanced MS Excel is required.
- Good -Very Good - Excellent in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral).
- Good - Very Good - Excellent Computer skills, Advanced MS access is required. and other programming tools
Experience
- Minimum 4 to 5 years’ Experience. (Access Planning)
