Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Creative Director to provide our creative team with guidance and ideas to launch new impressive projects. You will devise the concepts and strategies for a particular venture and will monitor its progress. You will be able to implement your creative vision and become the point of reference for any creative plan that wants to make its way to the customers.

The goal is to achieve the best possible outcome of our projects both visually and essentially to meet customer expectations and drive our sustainable growth.

Creative Director Job Responsibilities:

  • Produces promotional materials by developing basic presentation approaches; directing layout, design, and copywriting; determining and monitoring production schedules; providing work direction to staff.
  • Initiate and design complex and simple marketing plans based on client specifications
  • Collaborate with design personnel to ensure that all creative ideas are presented properly
  • Conceiving and implementing concepts, guidelines, and strategies in various creative projects and overseeing them to completion
  • Collaborating with account executives to obtain knowledge of the clients’ requirements
  • Directing and motivating teams of art directors, illustrators, copywriters, etc. to help them use their talents effectively
  • Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees.
  • Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.
  • Develops basic presentation approaches by reviewing materials and information presented by the client.
  • Determines project content by reviewing and approving art and copy materials developed by staff.
  • Obtains client approval by presenting final layouts to the client.
  • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; recommending changes to art, copywriting, and production departments.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Analytical Skills: Advertising and marketing are ever-evolving, and good creative directors are able to analyze trends, look at new data and keep with the times.
  • Decision-Making Skills: Advertising campaigns have timelines, and creative directors will need to make decisions on final copy, final art, finished commercials, and radio spots.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Creative directors will meet with corporate heads and clients on a regular basis. Being a good communicator to all involved will help greatly.
  • Management Skills: Creative directors often have to keep many creatives on schedule, and manage their own time.
