Job Description
IT Applications Developer/Support Engineer Job Vacancy in American International School West Campus - Sheikh Zayed- 6 of October.
Will provide IT Applications consulting services .
Provide highly qualified resources to deploy such solutions including Development, implementation, training and support.
This position requires self-initiative, ownership, excellent listening skills, motivated to provide exceptional customer service from inception to resolution for each issue, responsiveness, collaboration, technical Support expertise, and business acumen.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as primary IT Applications Developer/Support Engineer.
- Data migration and testing.
- Backup/Restore database and check it .
- Designing modules by dividing the user requirements into sub modules and setting time frame for task completion.
- Receiving requests for new modules and modification to existing tasks. Participate in setting and implementing programming standards, procedures and common libraries for projects.
- Develop web and desktop applications using .net (Visual Studio [C#, ASP.net, ADO.net]), XML Web Services, JavaScript.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
- Prepare and present progress reports on project/activities as required. (Crystal Reports, Reporting Services)
- Testing and evaluating the systems functionality to ensure successful integration.
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve Staff issues.
- Follow standard procedures for proper escalation (when required) of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Troubleshooting, data recovering and reinstalling Software.
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to Staff
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science of Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Excellent Knowledge of Visual Studio 2012.2015
- Excellent Knowledge on C# and MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports, Reporting Services
- Team Worker and able to work under pressure.
- 2-5 year experience.
- Win Server 2012/2016 is a plus.
- Applicant must be a language school or experimental graduate
- Understanding of common support metrics, available tools, and typical industry standards for excellent support
- Strong troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
- Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
- Self-motivated, independent, well-organized and dynamic.
