Telesales Representative Responsibilities

Include:

  • Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about the products using and following the scripts
  • Answering questions about Olio’s products or the company
  • Asking questions to understand customer’s feedback and maximize sales

Job brief

  • Looking for enthusiastic Telesales Representatives to contribute in generating sales. You will be responsible for increasing orders to call ratio and sales over the phone while maintaining good customer relationships.
  • An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting our products over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.
  • The goal is to help Olio Food stores grow by bringing in customers and developing the business.
  • Contact potential & existing customers to inform them about the products and promotions using the script
  • Answer questions about the products and/ or the company
  • Ask questions to understand customer’s feedback and maximize order value
  • Enter and update customer information in the database
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner
  • Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
  • Go the “extra mile” to exceed targets and facilitate more sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service roles
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about Olio Food's products and describe/explain them to customers
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection and criticism
  • Outstanding listening skills, time management and persuasion with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
