Job Description

  • We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas for specific districts of our company.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience being responsible for the sale of a Paints’ products or services in a specified region or geographical area, while taking accountability for reaching targets.
  • You should also be able to supervise a team of salespeople and set profitable goals.
  • Our ideal candidates combine excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset.
  • The organization totally depends on his expertise and abilities in revolutionizing the sales force, and as such should be in close liaison with the management and business department heads.
  • Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives for the region
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding our customer base
  • Servicing the needs of our existing customers
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Recruiting and training sales staff
  • Developing sales strategies and setting targets
  • Monitoring sales team's performance and motivating them to reach targets
  • Compiling and analyzing sales figures
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research
  • Reporting to senior management
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other fields related to the profession
  • Strong communication, negotiation, organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to design and effectively implement both short-term and long-term business strategies
  • Leadership skills
  • Proven experience in cross-selling, and competence in various sales activities
  • Ability to be flexible and to multi-task
  • Ability to absorb pressure that comes with the position
