Job Description
- We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas for specific districts of our company.
- To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience being responsible for the sale of a Paints’ products or services in a specified region or geographical area, while taking accountability for reaching targets.
- You should also be able to supervise a team of salespeople and set profitable goals.
- Our ideal candidates combine excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset.
- The organization totally depends on his expertise and abilities in revolutionizing the sales force, and as such should be in close liaison with the management and business department heads.
- Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives for the region
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding our customer base
- Servicing the needs of our existing customers
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
- Recruiting and training sales staff
- Developing sales strategies and setting targets
- Monitoring sales team's performance and motivating them to reach targets
- Compiling and analyzing sales figures
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Reporting to senior management
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors
- Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements
Job Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other fields related to the profession
- Strong communication, negotiation, organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to design and effectively implement both short-term and long-term business strategies
- Leadership skills
- Proven experience in cross-selling, and competence in various sales activities
- Ability to be flexible and to multi-task
- Ability to absorb pressure that comes with the position
