Job Description
- Working closely with HQ and helping to organize the plate and design workflow.
- Being responsible for plate production in Elif Cairo site.
- Being responsible for first quality controls of the plates that have been produced at other companies.
- Being responsible for the handling of the quality issues of the plates.
- Tracking the technological developments related with machinery and equipment that (s) he uses and reporting the progresses to the senior management and contributing to the required updates according to such innovations in accordance with the possibilities.
- Working in coordination with the concerned cliché companies to make everything ready in time for the production.
- Participating in the printing approval process together with the Design Specialist, Customer, Customer Representative and people responsible for the printing unit
- Archiving the LEN files and producing plates from these LEN files when necessary.
- Storing and archiving the documents for the designs in accordance with the specified order.
- Comply with the principle of confidentiality during the design work.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in one of the Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering fields, or equivalent
- Adaptability and fast learning ability
- Ability to work effectively, whether individually or as part of a team
- Motivation and passion to work with technical details
- Willingness and ability to follow oral and written directions
- Proficiency in basic computer usage and competency in data entry
- Pre-press knowledge or plate experience is a plus
- Very good in written and spoken English
- Any certificate or degree related to the Graphical Design field is a plus
