Job Description
- Act as a link point between operations team and customs brokers
- Plan, Organize and lead all related customs clearance department activities
- Prepare and process import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures in coordination with the operations team
- Understand all the procedures that must be done for clearing sea shipments and air cargo shipments
- Maintain knowledge on understanding the standards of import and export authority for each product
- Maintain relationships with customs brokers in other ports to expedite clearing of cargo
- Develop business relationships
- Analyze process and procedures to reduce operating costs for import businesses
- Pay, or arrange for payment of, taxes, charges, fees and duties on shipments
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of logistics or business administration
- Strong freight operations background
- Excellent Organizing and planning skills
- Excellent Problem Solving and leadership skills
