Job Description
Perfect English and French speaking teachers required to work in a busy international day nursery in Heliopolis.
Duties include:-
- Teaching the curriculum and academic subjects to the children using a variety of techniques including circle time, directed activity, arts and crafts, projects, variety of play, in order to provide a full range of activities daily that promote learning
- Interaction with parents daily to update them about their child's growth and development and during 1:1 meetings as necessary
- Inputting via our imported customised computerised system to record children's daily diary and ongoing development via our tablet applications
- Delegating work to other team members and monitoring the quality of the work as well as training others according to the high standards and systems
- Careful monitoring of all of the children's health and safety, well-being and personal needs
- Reporting to owners directly as well as senior management and regular interaction with the whole nursery team to ensure a high quality service with standards of excellence
Job Requirements
- Must love children and be patient and flexible
- Confident to lead a team of up to 4 other staff members
- Happy and creative personality
- Excellent English and/or French and Arabic an advantage
- Graduate level preferred but will consider others with excellent spoken and written English as full training will be given
- Computer literate
- Reliable, on time, and dedicated to the important task of educating young minds
- Must be able to plan and co-ordinate several demands at the same time and set goals and achieve them
